CONNECTING IN A SMALL GROUP
February 14th, 2012Every weekend it’s our goal to celebrate God in Impact.
Our Sunday night services are designed to be large, loud, and filled with tons of energy. Impact is a place where anyone can come and bring their friends to have fun, laugh, and learn about God and do so in an environment where they can stay anonymous and check things out with little risk.
At some point, most people will be ready for more. They’ll no longer be content as nameless faces among the masses.
Eventually, the draw of true community will win.
How To Spend Time With God
January 2nd, 2012How To Spend Time Alone With God
Every great relationship requires time in order to grow, and it’s the same for our friendship with Jesus. God wants us to spend time with him! Here are some ideas to help you connect with God on your own:
1. Choose a TIME when you are at your best. If you are a morning person, spend time with God in the morning. The idea is to be with God when we are most alert and ready to hear him speak.
Welcome to Impact!
January 2nd, 2012Welcome to Impact!!
Thanks for taking the time to visit Impact Student Ministries. We’re glad that you came and took the time to fill out a card. If you just recently started coming to Impact, it’s our hope that your first experiences have been fun, encouraging, and personally challenging in some way. Our goal is to shatter the stereotype that church is boring. God isn’t boring and we shouldn’t be either!
Helping you connect is one of our main goals.

You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others. – 2 Timothy 2:2
Paul, after spending much time discipling his student Timothy gave him these words of encouragement and challenge. And God is giving us this challenge. 2 Timothy 2:2 talks about taking what you have learned about gospel and investing in the hungry to multiply. It’s further evidence that we’re called to make disciples. Living THE Cause! It’s disciples making disciples.
