Can you go 24 hours without media?  Are you up for the task?  I would like to challenge you to go without media (Computer, TV, Phone, etc.) on the National Day of Prayer on May 8th and dedicate your day to seeking the face of God on behalf of our national, state, and local governmental leaders, educational and medical institutions, and to building relationships that are condusive to having a spiritual conversation.  This includes limiting your cell usage to only emergency use and parental conversations.  I think this can have a amazing impact on you and those you are lifting up to our Lord.

8th Graders from around the Wabash Valley will be gathering at Maryland Community Church for a fun-filled Celebration.  You will be picked up from your school’s office and taken via bus to MCC to enjoy an afternoon playing games, eating food, and meeting new friends.  Be sure to pick up the required parental release forms from your school’s office.  You will need to arrange for your own ride home.
